On May 30th, 2018, the Bureau of Substance Addiction Services awarded West Central Family and Counseling its two year BSAS License. This license allows West Central Family and Counseling to service adult clients with substance use diagnosis, as well as dual diagnosis.
Following a thorough audit by the Bureau, it was determined that West Central Family and Counseling had accomplished proper licensure requirements through a well-organized and exhaustive process.
Clinic Co-Director at West Central Family and Counseling, Simona Pozzetto, had this to say regarding the achievement, “I am excited about this program because now we can go out into the community and partner with other agencies to serve the dual diagnosis population.”
Pozzetto went on to say, “One thing that we were able to do from the start is we were able to communicate closely with our partners in this fight against the opioid epidemic, in order to better serve the population with substance use disorders. Our partnership with MAT programs has been very effective, and we are looking forward to increasing our relationships with other clinics in the area.”
The BSAS license is valid through May of 2020. West Central Family and Counseling is currently accepting new referrals for this program.
