New England Geriatrics Announces Expansion Into Connecticut

New England Geriatrics (NEG) is excited to announce their expansion of services into Connecticut. Currently NEG provides treatment to 12,500 patients monthly throughout 130 nursing homes, and 3 inpatient geropsychiatric units in Massachusetts.The company has developed a partnership with Masonicare to provide high quality acute inpatient geriatric psychiatry services to elderly residents throughout Connecticut.

New England Geriatrics reveals their new partnership with Masonicare at their main campus in Wallingford, CT. NEG will provide services at their 29 bed Geriatric-Psychiatric inpatient unit, along with their 366 bed Skilled Nursing Facility and Outpatient Mental-Health Clinic, all on Masonicare’s beautiful 218-acre campus.NEG will begin providing services at Masonicare on December 1, 2017.

We will do that by providing an interdisciplinary team of qualified professionals who all believe that the patient is our first priority,” said Laurel Wood who serves as Regional Program Director for NEG’s Connecticut Inpatient Hospitalization Program.
