November marks Alzheimer's Awareness month, and New England Geriatrics is showing its support. Our staff will be wearing and showcasing purple ribbons to assist in the awareness efforts. Interested in doing your part? Here are some tips so can you become involved in Alzheimer's Awareness Month.
Make Purple Ribbons
Purple ribbons are used to represent Alzheimer's Awareness Month. As a fun activity make some ribbons with a few friends and pass them out! This is a great way to make people aware of the cause while having some fun!
Hold an Office Event
Holding an office event is a great way to educate your co-workers. These events can be incredibly simple, such as passing out candy to people wearing purple on a specific day. Don't be afraid to be creative!
Participate in an Alzheimer's Association Event
The Alzheimer's Association is a great resource to learn about events or fundraising. You can volunteer, donate, or run your own Alzheimer's Awareness event. They will be able to guide you in the right direction.
